Product Description :

Ray-Ban | Meta Wayfarer Gen 1 – RW4006 – Classic Wayfarer Style With Built-In Smart Technology

The Ray-Ban | Meta Wayfarer Gen 1 (RW4006) blends one of the most iconic eyewear designs ever created with Meta’s first generation of smart glasses technology. Built to look and feel like traditional Ray-Ban Wayfarers, this model delivers hands-free convenience, advanced camera capability, immersive audio, and seamless connectivity — all while maintaining the timeless Wayfarer silhouette millions of people love. With its familiar shape, lightweight feel, and discreet integrated tech, the Gen 1 Wayfarer offers a stylish and modern way to capture, listen, and stay connected without ever taking your phone out of your pocket.

The Timeless Wayfarer Design You Know and Love

Ray-Ban’s Wayfarer frame has been a global style icon for decades. Its sharp lines, bold profile, and universally flattering shape make it one of the most recognisable eyewear designs in the world. The Meta Wayfarer Gen 1 stays true to this beloved design, ensuring it looks like a premium pair of everyday sunglasses rather than a piece of wearable technology. The smart components are built directly into the temples and frame in such a subtle way that they remain virtually invisible during daily use. This makes the Wayfarer Gen 1 the ideal choice for users who want the functionality of smart glasses without sacrificing traditional style.

Capture Moments Hands-Free With the Built-In Smart Camera

Integrated into the front of the frame is a 12MP ultra-wide smart camera that allows you to capture photos and record high-quality video from your exact point of view. Whether you’re travelling, attending events, exploring outdoors, or creating content, the Meta Wayfarer Gen 1 lets you preserve moments naturally and effortlessly. Video recording supports smooth, high-resolution output, while photo capture remains crisp and vibrant. A visible LED indicator automatically lights up whenever the camera is recording, ensuring transparency and respect for the people around you.

Hands-free control makes capturing moments even easier. Simply use touch gestures along the temple or activate voice commands to take a picture or start recording. This makes the glasses particularly practical for creators, commuters, and active users who want to stay present while documenting their surroundings.

Rich Open-Ear Audio With Multi-Mic Clarity

The Meta Wayfarer Gen 1 features a discreet open-ear speaker system built directly into the frame. Unlike earbuds that block out environmental noise, these speakers allow you to stay aware of your surroundings while still enjoying music, calls, podcasts, and audio notifications. The sound quality is clear and immersive, making everyday listening feel natural and comfortable.

A five-microphone array ensures your voice is captured accurately during calls, voice notes, and commands. The mics reduce background noise and prioritise voice clarity, making the glasses surprisingly effective for hands-free communication even in busy environments. This makes them ideal for commuting, multitasking, or managing calls on the move.

Smart Functionality Powered by Meta

Through the Meta View app, the Wayfarer Gen 1 integrates seamlessly with your smartphone. Your photos and videos sync automatically, making it easy to organise, save, or share your content. Voice-controlled functionality allows you to interact with the glasses hands-free, simplifying everything from capturing media to communicating with your contacts. The intuitive controls help you stay productive and connected without pulling out your phone.

The glasses connect effortlessly via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, supporting both iOS and Android devices. Setup is quick, and the user interface is friendly enough even for first-time smart glasses users.

Designed for All-Day Comfort

Despite the built-in technology, the Wayfarer Gen 1 remains lightweight and comfortable for extended wear. The frame is engineered to distribute weight evenly, allowing it to sit naturally on the face without causing pressure or discomfort. This makes the glasses suitable for daily use — whether you're commuting, travelling, creating content, or spending long hours outdoors.

The classic Wayfarer fit ensures they remain stylish and practical, bridging the gap between premium eyewear and everyday wearable technology.
